PS4 Repair

The Sony Playstation 4 is a great console with a great array of games. They are not without their problems though. It seems that more and more PS4's are having problems as they age. We are here to help. We love taking these things apart. We started fixing Playstation 4 game consoles as soon as we could get our hands on them. We have years of experience with PS4 repair and we have spent the money to buy professional level tools and equipment to fix your console correctly. We stock every part for all models of Playstation four so we are ready to quickly and accurately repair any console that comes through our doors.
Whatever your PS4 problem is... if it's fixable, we can fix it! We have experience repairing almost any problem that a PS4 can have. Even if your game console has been taken apart and is in pieces in a box we can put it back together. We get items in all the time that have been taken apart and previous repairs have been unsuccessful.
Common PS4 Repairs
1) HDMI Port Replacement - This is the most common PS4 repair that we do. The original HDMI ports on PS4's were a really bad design and broke very easily. The newer models have better HDMI ports but obviously they still go bad when people trip over the cords, jam the HDMI cable in, etc. We've fixed literally thousands of HDMI ports for both PS4 and Xbox One game consoles. We install new and improved ports and provide a 6 month warranty on this fix.
2) Bug Infested Repairs - Yes, we fix these! We don't know of any other repair shop that will even take an infested PS4, but we do. We receive lots of consoles that are infested with cockroaches and even a few that are infested with ants. Insects love game consoles because they are dark inside and they get warm when they are turned on so lots of people have problems with infested consoles. Our repair service will get you back up and running quickly.
3) Disc Drive Repairs - Whether your disc drive has stopped reading discs, makes funny noises, or won't even take the disc in anymore, we can help. As these devices age their parts start to wear out. The disc drive laser, rollers and other parts are some of the things that many times wear out the fastest. We offer one price no matter the problem so you don't have to worry about extra charges once we get started on your repair.
4) Overheating Repair - If your PS4 sounds like a jet engine, or turns off on it's own and gives you an overheating error, we can fix it! There are several things that can cause this type of problem but we can fix pretty much all of them... we offer one low price for this repair whatever the root problem is. This repair includes heat sink cleaning, thermal paste replacement and anything else that it needs to get it running cooler again.
5) Other Repairs - No idea what's wrong with your PS4? Need something just soldered? We fix lots of other random things on these consoles. We have every part for them in stock and ready for your random repair. We've got WiFi antennas, motherboards, fans, cases, disc drives, power supplies and every other part for every model of these consoles so you can be assured that whatever part you need you won't be waiting forever for them.

PS4 Repair Options
So what are the options if you need to get your console repaired? Well, you have several options. Let's take a look:
- Sony Repair Center. If your device is still under warranty then the best option would be to send it in to Sony for warranty repairs. There are several exceptions to this however. If you have already removed the warranty stickers then Sony will charge for any repairs and in some cases probably will not accept the console at all. Also, if your device is infested with roaches, ants or any other bug then it will not be covered under the Sony warranty.
- Local Repair Shop. This is a great option if you have a local repair shop who is experienced with the repair that is needed. Just be very careful and make sure that any place you take your console actually has experience with that device. TronicsFix receives consoles in weekly that have been taken to other repair facilities that were not experienced with that type of repair and caused more damage to the console.
- Mail in Repair Center. Mailing your console to TronicsFix for PS4 repair works great. Since we have so much experience with every repair we can get it done quickly and accurately. In many cases we can fix it faster than local repair shops.
- DIY Repair. This option is good if you are realistic with your skills and abilities and if you have the needed tools and parts. Many people try to fix their game console who have no idea what they are doing and cause more damage than there was in the first place. DIY PS4 repair can work great, but only if you have some experience and you know how to do the job you are trying to do. We have lots of videos on our YouTube channel to help with DIY repairs.
